April Update
Loomis Town Council Update
We had a successful presentation to the Town Council of
Loomis at their meeting on Tuesday, March 12. The Council voted in favor of
directing the Town Manager to draft a Joint Use agreement with the Placer Union
High School District and research where funds might be available in the budget
to make an investment of $250,000 towards the construction of Phase I this
summer. This contribution represents 10% of the total Phase I cost. We
anticipate that the agreement and budget proposal will be ready for a vote at
the meeting on Tuesday, May 14 at 7:30 p.m. Mark your calendars
and please come out to support this important milestone!

Parkas for
the Pool
Hello fellow Del Oro Eagles and supporters! My name is
Becca Triplett and I am a Junior here at Del Oro as well as a swimmer. I
am helping to raise money for our new pool by selling parkas. A parka is
a long, extremely warm, highly water resistant coat. These would be
fantastic to wear at any sporting event or just on a cold, rainy day. The
interior is gold while the exterior is solid black. You can even have DEL
ORO put on the back. You don't have to be a swimmer to love a parka! The cost
is $95 for the parka, but if you want DEL ORO on the back and your name
embroidered on the front the cost is $120. If
you want to give a parka to someone you love for Christmas, please place your
order by DECMEBER 5. Contact me to order at: swimbex3@gmail.com.
